Donald S Murray sets out on his travels this autumn to Canada and the USA to carry out research for a new novel.
The as-yet-unnamed novel is largely based on the experience of Highlanders and islanders who emigrated to North America during the Roaring Twenties.
Donald will be in Chicago and Detroit for around two weeks from late September and is keen to set up interviews with the descendants of those who emigrated to seek a new life.
