Lewis-born author Donald S Murray is back on ‘home turf’ later this month to discuss his new book, The Loch of the Bees.
He will be appearing at Stornoway Library at 3 pm on Wednesday, July 15, to chat about the book and the inspirations behind it.
A spokesperson for the Western Isles Library Service said: “In his latest book, The Loch of the Bees, Murray blends history, folklore and deeply personal storytelling to bring to life the experiences of Hebridean communities through the centuries.

“Discover the inspirations behind his writing as he reflects on the landscapes, voices and traditions that continue to shape his work.”
It is a free event and will also feature Gaelic songs from Koren Pickering.
Due to limited space, booking is essential. Free tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
